I've spent 25 years in construction — and the last several doing some of the most complex, high-stakes VDC work in the country. As VDC Director at one of the nation's largest GCs, I led the virtual design and construction strategy for a $5BN+ national hyperscale data center program spanning four states — one of the largest programs of its kind.
Beyond data centers, I oversaw VDC across $5B+ in projects ranging from a 60-story high rise to a major urban convention center to hospitals, airports, and corporate campuses. I built and led regional teams, drove the VDC portion of an enterprise Autodesk Construction Cloud transition, and was consistently the person people called when a project got complicated.
Before that, I ran my own BIM consulting practice for eight years — advising GCs and owners on technology adoption, trade coordination, and building the kind of workflows that actually work in the field. That consulting chapter taught me something I've never forgotten: the best technology in the world doesn't matter if the people using it don't trust it.
